LoveYou Kickboxing's Fly Girl!
First Love You
"The principle is competing against yourself. It's about self-improvement, about being better than you were the day before"
When Lindsay Jack walks into class I say to myself (and sometimes out loud) "Yay, Lindsay's here!" She's so much fun to have in class, the energy lifts and becomes lighter because of her ease to laughter and good humour.
Lindsay's not afraid to tell me which moves and combinations she approves of and which ones are... not so much. I love that Lindsay pauses after she throws a combination. She takes the time to breath and reset before she throws it again so that each time she executes the combo it's just as good as the first one.
Lindsay's hands stay up, and even on the days when she just needs to hit something hard, she still focuses on technique.
I have tried almost every different sport and workout there is and I had never found anything that I REALLY enjoyed or wanted to stick to. I had always wanted to try kickboxing so when I found Love You Kickboxing, just for woman, I thought it would be a great time to try. Coming together with woman of every age, shape and experience level really made it fun and created a comfortable environment for me to learn and get hooked on kickboxing.
All ass kicking, all the time! But seriously, every class I attend I feel stronger. It is a great place to get your weeks anger out, or even just to pick up your energy level.
The workout is great. I feel great for days after, and when I haven't kickboxed for a week or two I really miss it. Every class is different and you always meet wonderful woman (including Cheryl). What's not to love.
Favorite moves: Superman punches and roundhouse kicks.
LoveYou Kickboxing is a great environment for all woman, and a workout you can do at any level. If you want to feel strong and empowered, try kickboxing. Every woman should try it at least once.
Thank you Lindsay for loving you and doing what you do!
