LoveYou Kickboxing's Fly Girl!
First Love You
Let your energy be purposeful, influential and determined to help someone's day be phenomenal.
Laura is the type of person that raises the vibration of a room just by being in it. She has an optimistic personality and great sense of humor. Her clever, quick wit is a breath of fresh air and I love, love having her in class!
Kickboxing is fun, but the techniques and combinations don't always come easy, they can be very challenging. If you have the ability to laugh at yourself and take it in stride, you will have fun while sweating and progress much faster. Laura easily laughs at her kickboxing faux pas and enjoys the process.
Laura's kicks are textbook, she works hard and her progression is a joy to watch.
I feel much gratitude that Laura chose LoveYou Kickboxing and that my classes were her motivation catalyst.
I hadn't been doing much physically in a couple of years and I missed that sense of pride when you challenge yourself and succeed. I got forwarded an email from a coworker and was excited by the thought of doing some thing powerful, totally new to me and frankly, a little badass.
I love the challenge of the combinations we work on and knowing that I will feel invincible at least once during every class. I love the sound when a punch or kick connects just right, keeping up with my very fit friend/punching partner, and learning moves to impress my co-workers and sister.
I feel welcome when I arrive and stronger when I leave. The vibe at LoveYou Kickboxing is one of camaraderie and support as women of all body types and fitness levels launch explosive jabs and crosses. I like how the foundation is set but the onus is on me to execute. It's up to me to put in the hard work.
I hadn't done bupkis in months before joining LoveYou Kickboxing. I had gained weight, lost motivation and was really struggling physically. Kickboxing allowed me to tap into a part of my spirit that I had neglected for a long time. It reminded me that exercise doesn't have to be about comparing myself to others or feeling inadequate. My big legs delivered big kicks. My broad shoulders released strong punches. The confidence in what I was capable of grew steadily, often without me aware it was happening.
I've lost 33 lbs over the last eight months, with kickboxing at the base of my take control of your life plan. And it all started with wrapping my hands and slipping on a pair of gloves.
Thank you Laura for doing what you do and loving you!
