First Love You
When you do what you love, the seemingly impossible becomes simply challenging, the laborious becomes purposeful resistance, the difficult loses its edge and is trampled by your progress.
Some time ago I received a message from Kim on my Facebook page, she told me she was joining my class and explained that she had sustained severe injuries from a quad accident. I asked Kim to communicate with me regularly in class and assured her that we could always modify exercises.
Kim attended class regularly, pushed herself and focused on performing all her technique correctly. Just over six months later Kim's throwing knockout punches and smiling through the sweat!
Kim is a wonderful example of how moving the body consistently, carefully and correctly, leads to stability, strength and stamina!
I'm a stay at home mom with two beautiful girls 2 1/2 & 5 1/2 years. I joined LoveYou Kickboxing because I've always been curious about kickboxing but didn't think I'd ever do it. I was so excited to start kickboxing and so scared to do it.
I had a quad accident 5 years ago and fractured my pelvis, tail bone and pubic bone. I've had a lot of issues since and will for the rest of my life.. But going to kickboxing has helped my hips so much, I can actually do the stretches now and it doesn't kill me, same with the kicks.. I knew it would kill me in the beginning but I also knew that it would help me big time in the end. I told Cheryl about my accident before I started the class and she asked me to keep her informed if something was bugging me and she would modify it for me.
I love LoveYou Kickboxing because it's such a full body work out. I prefer kickboxing over going to the gym and I love how my body is changing. Don't ever think you can't do something, you don't know until you try it! Cheryl's classes are a lot of fun, I recommend LoveYou Kickboxing to everyone!
