LoveYou Kickboxing is a womenʼs fitness kickboxing program.
All classes are Mixed Level, by showing exercise and technique modifications, Cheryl offers fun, challenging workouts for all fitness levels. Proper and authentic kickboxing technique is taught and participants choose level appropriate partners. Everybody gets an amazing workout and no two classes are the same.
The great thing about kickboxing is that it doesn’t get any easier. The better you get, the harder you work as kickboxing is progressive. You learn to incorporate your whole body in your technique. Your jab / cross is still a jab / cross but it doesn’t look or feel anything like it did when you first started. Even the heavy weight champion of the world still trains his jab/cross.
The main portion of the class is partner based with partners alternating between the kick boxer (boxing gloves) and the pad holder position. Participants are taught punching, kicking and pad holding technique. Drills consist of different combinations and exercises and are usually time based (30 sec to 5 minutes) Ex: Jab-Jab-Cross-Duck- Round kick.
The workouts are high energy and mirror the intensity of a fighter’s routine with no risk of getting hurt as sparring is not a part of the class. Relieve your frustrations from the day as you punch, kick, bob and weave your way into the best shape of your life!
