Humble, Hopeful, Patient.. These are words that can definitely be used to describe Alison. A regular in class, Alison is all about demonstrating correct technique and improving it.
With 3 young children, a weekly blog, facebook page, website (not to mention the creation of her cookbook), Alison still makes time to get her Jab/Cross on! I just wish Alison would bring more of her healthy treats to class! (hint hint) Check them out @

When asked how Alison maintains her motivation for kickboxing:
I think when you commit to a routine it helps your exercise regiment substantially. It is what I do every Wednesday morning no debate. Kids with sore tummies go to school on Wednesdays ;-)
I love coming each week to get a completely different workout from my running, bootcamp or pilates. As well every week is new and fresh with Cheryl, she spends a lot of time planning and making each week fun. The hour goes so fast as I am focused on each combination and I love the mind and body release I get from punching and kicking. It is a great way to relieve stress.
Do not be intimidated by joining one of these classes even if you have never participated before. Cheryl will work with you to get the right technique and soon it will become second nature. It is such a great workout and you don't even know you are doing it. My strengthened core, secure back and sculpted shoulders I owe to the kickboxing workouts. Thanks Cheryl, you rock!!
